at St Marks Church on Clairemont Drive will be a fun event for the whole family.

San Diego Downtown News & ART WALK Little Italy

This months "San Diego Downtown News" Section B Cover, features an article by Marty Jones Westlin on downtown building and my San Diego Neighborhood Series of Watercolors. Above is the series so far. The originals of these plein air paintings will be on Sale at ART WALK for $150 each, in Little Italy on Sat and Sun, April 25th and 26th. There is only one original of each location so first come first serve.

My booth is on INDIA Street between Fir and Grape. Booth No. 903 which you'll see on the map they will give you. Its a FREE event, the largest Outdoor Art Show of the year with LIVE music and great food. Please look for my Green Odoodle.com banner and say hello. Below is a link to the event.

Top 100 -Spanish Village and SD Watercolor Art Shows

O'Byrnes' Oil Painting titled "Lillies at Night, Who Knew?" was juried into the the "Top 100 Show" of the Annual Southwestern Artist Association which takes place the 1st two weeks in March. Drop by and see some wonderful artwork in all mediums.

Also O'Byrnes "Dancing with Light" was juried into this months show at the San Diego Watercolor Society along with a minature titled "Twos company, Threes a crowd"

The SDWS Reception is this Friday March 6th from 5pm to 8pm.

Sign up now for the new session starting Feb. 19th Wednesday Evenings from 6:30pm to 9pm in Mission Valley. Individual encouraging attention. $100 per month covers 4 classes at $25 per class. Cat Fanciers Show-JAN 24th and 25th- Del Mar

CAT Lovers, Mark your calendar for this Exciting Event held in Del Mar on Sat and Sun, January 24th & 25th. Please look out for my Booth, when you walk in I'll be at the opposite wall.

SHOW HALL: Del Mar Fairgrounds - Exhibit Hall -2260 Jimmy Durante Blvd, Del Mar CA.

DIRECTIONS TO SHOW HALL:
From either direction on the San Diego Freeway Interstate 5 exit onto Via de La Valle towards the ocean or west. And follow the signs to the race track. See Signs to Exhibit Hall.

SHOW HOURS:
Show hours are 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Valentino with his Bone

My client commissioned this painting of Tino for a good friend. Poor Tino has cancer. The good news is we got the painting to her friend while Tino is still with us. I wish him a speedy recovery with the least amount of pain. Such a sweet dog.

The photograph I was given was Tino lying on the living room floor, so I made it more interesting by adding landscaping and some trees in the background to give it an outdoor feeling.

Max up in Doggie Heaven

Here is a Watercolor of Max, who sadly passed away and is now in Dog Heaven. His owner really misses him and wanted to capture his spirit in a custom painting. So here he is with his stripes.
