O'Byrnes Painting of PETCO Park sells for $20,000

My latest painting of PETCO PARK which was signed by the Padres for a charity event yesterday sold for $20,000 !! What a great amount for a great cause. The funds go to Adrian and Betsy Gonzalez Foundation

Padres's All Star Adrian Gonzlaez and his teammates will put their day jobs on hold to moonlight as chefs, waiters and bartenders all for charity!

Also planned for the evening is a special raffle which will be "uncorked" that evening and a live auction.

Archie _ Julys Painting of the Month

This is handsome Archie looking very patriotic with his scarf, he was aptly painted in the month of July. Linda my client was delighted with the outcome of Archies custom pet painting in watercolor. It is 22 x 30.

Hi Deirdre! I just have to tell you how excited I am about the portrait you did of Archie. I surprised my husband with it the night I brought it home and he was blown away! I brought it in to work this morning to show some friends, including the one I mentioned to you with the Akita. He was extremely impressed and was interested in your prices – which I provided. I do hope he gets in touch. Also, you likely don’t need my approval, but if you want to post this portrait on your site (and I’m a bit biased, I realize!), he’s an incredible representation of your amazing talent. Everyone who sees him (and they all know Archie) says right away – “She really got his eyes!”

TV interview with KUSI on Good Morning San Diego

This morning was a lot of fun painting and showing my work on TV and interviewed by Mike shown above. We are advertising for ArtWalk and Art Reach. I am donating a CUSTOM PET Painting portrait to Art Reach who is holding a Silent Auction showing 14 artists works that are up for bids. 100% of the funds collected goes to Art Reach who are fighting to bring art back into Elementary schools so its for a great cause so come on down and place a bid

WOOFSTOCK 2010 in Balboa Park San Diego

WOOFSTOCK was another great success this year with more than twice the amount of walkers and attendees. I donated a Prize of a CUSTOM PET PAINTING PORTRAIT to the winner. It was a perfect day with fabulous San Diego weather. I truly enjoy this event just for all the dogs and of course to donate to "Canine Companions for Independence" a very worthy cause. I just love seeing all the different breeds of dogs and mutts galore. Such great personalities I want to paint them all. I had the pleasure of having a beautiful Siberian Mountain Dog in my tent to watch for a while so she could cool off while her owners took a stroll. She was soo sweet. I love having dog guests. So keep this in mind the next time your dog needs some shade, water and spoilin' anytime at any of my Art Shows come on by, you and your loved one are always welcome.

With that in mind I hope to see you at this years LARGEST OUTDOOR ART EVENT in Little Italy, San Diego on Sat and Sun April 24 and 25 from 11am to 6pm. Drop by my booth # 903 located on INDIA STREET near Grape. Fabulous Art, Live Music, delicous food and great people watching!
